The Sugar Pine Lodge was an amazing house! We had a blast there celebrating our friends Bachelorette Party. There were 14 women and we never ran out of space! The kitchen is wonderful, the dining room a bonus and the living room big and open. The hot tub was a huge hit given we went during a cold front! The game room (garage) could not have worked out better either. Seriously just an all around great place. The rooms are separate than the main house, which we didn't expect, but didn't mind either way. The Owners were great allowing an early check in as well so we could decorate a little before the Bride-to-be arrived and were always available via phone if anything came up (which nothing did). We liked it so much the Brides immediate family have rented it again for her wedding in a few weeks in Ellicottville. Thank you again for hosting us!

The Sugar Pine lodge was more than I expected. The "house" was absolutely gorgeous. We had 16 girls with us for my bachelorette weekend getaway and there was more than enough room to accommodate all of us. The owners of the propert were very easy to work with. The fireplace was out in the garage game room when we first got there and he came up first thing the next morning to get it going again for us. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This was a wonderful rental for a large group of families. We love that each room had it's own bathroom, and the kitchen was very well-equipped for a large group. The location is fantastic, only a couple minutes from Holiday Valley, which made it easy to drop/pick-up adults and kids as needed. We plan to rent it again for our ski weekend next year!

This was our second time staying at Sugar Pine Lodge for our annual ski trip. The house is in a perfect location to the ski slopes and within walking distance from town. The rooms are cozy and we love that each room has its own private bathroom. We also love the shared kitchen/dining area where we could all meet up together. We plan to stay again this summer and hope to enjoy the pool!

We loved our 4-night stay at Sugar Pine Lodge. The lodge is less than 3 minutes away by car from the slopes and less than a 10 minute walk into downtown Ellicottville. The rooms were spacious, the lodge was well stocked, and the dining room easily enabled the 13 of us to eat together. We all loved the fact that each bedroom had its own private bathroom. The game room was fantastic! Lots of competition playing ping pong, darts, jenga, etc. The only improvement we could recommend would be to put more lighting in the family room to make it easier for card/board games. We want to come back!

Loved our stay. There were 13 of us - 4 couples and our five 20-something girls. The couples liked having our own bathrooms, however one was out of commission during our stay. Great kitchen, comfortable common area, and nice big dining room. The hot tub was a welcomed plus for our middle aged bones after a day of skiing. Owners were very pleasant to deal with. A great stay.

Our stay was excellent during Fall Fest. The house is within walking distance to the village. The facility was clean upon arrival, and had all of the necessary amenities. All we needed to bring was food and beverages. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back next year.

We had 17 people from age 4 to 75 and never ran out of things to do. The rooms were great with their own bathrooms and entrance. The kitchen and dining room was awesome. The best room was the game room. There was something for everyone and we spent almost every night in there playing something and it had it's own refrigerator!! We are definitely coming back

We rented Sugar Pine lodge for a long weekend to attend a family wedding. It was so much more than my family expected. ( I was the only one to see it ahead of time) We had plenty of room, and everyone loved it so much that we are planning on going back next summer for a whole week. We had the rehearsal dinner there and all of our guests were very impressed. It was very clean, and was very well stocked with all the necessities. I can't say enough good things about the lodge and all the help we received from Annette and David

Dave and Annette are great hosts. Responded quickly to any concerns. This large place is fun and stocked great. Plenty of everything they said was provided. Absolutely perfect place for a group of friends to have both private and gathering space. loved it!

Place worked out great for a family reunion. Pool, Jacuzzi, outdoor picnic shelter and many bathrooms were the highlights. Kitchen area was great for preparing meals. Place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of fridge space for food and drinks. Game room was another area that was high utilized.

Great location and amazing house. My family really enjoyed their stay. The bedroom suites, kitchen, outdoor pavilion and fire pit, pool and hot tub made this such a great getaway !

Our whole family stayed here during the" Happy Half " and we had a blast! The location was perfect and so were the accommodations. All the bedrooms had their own bathroom stocked with toiletries and towels. The Hot Tub was put to use and enjoyed by quite a few. We couldn't have asked for nicer kitchen and made great use of that too! We also enjoyed a camp fire both nights and had plenty of fire wood. This is a definite for next year too! Nancy R

Our ski group consists of 5 couples of which several are young seniors. We arrange a ski destination each year and meet for some great times. The folks at Sugar Pine looked after us well with local and property information . This large lodge was ideal for our group with the sitting and dinning areas. The fully equipped kitchen was perfect as we have some culinary people on board.We did not use the games room but it would be ideal for family activities.We did use the hot tub after a day on the slopes and it was the perfect ticket for our tired bodies. .

We just returned from the Sugar Pine Lodge in Ellicottville and could not have been happier! Annette and Dave were super responsive in the planning phase and helped answer all of my many questions (it was our first time to the area). The Sugar Pine Lodge was such a great fit for our group, the layout was wonderful and you can tell a lot of thought went into the place. Every sleeping room has their own bathroom, which is nice. Four of the sleeping rooms are located on the 2nd level, accessible by a stairwell outside. At first, this sounded inconvenient to me, but once on-site I really loved it. If a member of group went to bed early, slept late, or needed a nap, they could quietly slip upstairs and rest without interruption since the common areas were a floor below, there was not a lot of noise bleed between the floors. The kitchen had everything that we needed and more! The automatic coffee pot with a water hook-up was great and kept us well caffeinated. We cook most of our meals on our trip and never lacked finding something we needed. Besides the normal pots and pans there are several large mugs, serving dishes, mixing bowls, knives, trays, pitchers, wine glasses, literally anything you would need is there. It was so much fun cooking in that kitchen, our whole group loved it. Clean up was easy with two dishwashers and two sinks. The game room was a ton of fun, darts, ping pong, ladder ball, corn hole, a large gathering table and another restroom. The location was wonderful. It is pretty much in the middle of Holimont and Holiday Valley, and very easy drive to both. We walked into the town of Ellicottville one night to go to the Brewing Company, and it was a very easy walk. Once we parked at Holiday Valley we realized we our car was probably as far away from the ski lodge as the Sugar Pine Lodge was! We loved the mud room, well equipped with hooks and shelves for our ski gear, as well as the mini wooden ski lockers outside. Overall, this one of the most unique houses we have ever rented for our Ski Trip. We loved it, we loved Ellicottville and really enjoyed the skiing at both resorts.

Sugar Pine Lodge is located within walking distance of downtown Ellicottville and a short distance from both ski slopes (Holliday Valley and HoliMont). Our group occupied all four suites. We thouroughly enjoyed to fireplaces in each room, the outdoor hot tub, the comfort of the dining and living rooms, as well as the game room. Would like to experience the Lodge in warmer weather when the gardens are in bloom. This property will be on our list of properties for future rentals next time we ski NY. THANKS for a great weekend!

Our group of 17 had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in the Sugar Pine Lodge. The separate suites gave us privacy to rest and relax while the large kitchen, dining room and common room gave us room to be together. The kids loved bunking together in the common area bedroom. The mild weather allowed us to enjoy coffee on the deck while watching a beautiful sunrise over the mountains. The hot tub was a nice way to unwind after cooking a large holiday meal in the well stocked kitchen. The owner responded quickly to each message and made renting and staying in this house easy and stress free. Would definitely rent this property again.

What a great find! We were six couples visiting the area to attend a wedding. Our group has vacationed together for 25 years and we have stayed in many places. Sugar Pine was wonderful. We all had our own space in our suite yet there was large common space in the living room, kitchen and dining room to all hang out together. Although the weather didn't allow us to spend much time outside, this space also was very inviting. Restaurants were also close but we used the well equipped and beautiful kitchen for breakfast both days. Sugar Pine is a very large home and we all commented on how clean it was. I would absolutely recommend this rental and would love to enjoy again if in the area.

Rented at Sugar Pine with a large group of family and friends. Can't say enough good things... the rooms were private and we still had a large common area to socialize. The kitchen had the amenities to produce LARGE amounts of food and drink (auto coffee maker). Contacted owner in the middle of our stay to book again for next year.

Loved it! We booked it for my parents 50th anniversary. I have a many siblings, nieces & nephews and it was really perfect. It's the only place that we could find literally in all of western NY that had everything we wanted. A beautiful pool with a deck area, fire pit, outside enclosure with picnic tables, large kitchen, many bedrooms and bathrooms, loads of charm- & in Nature but close to the city. The owner was a complete pleasure to deal with. We are considering making it an annual family thing!

We went for a couples getaway this past weekend and everything was amazing! The suites to the unground pool. Great place and the location is PERFECT! Only a 10 minute walk to town. I would highly recommend this place to couples, families! The owner was very reliable with any questions or concerns throughout the stay and prior to coming.
