Our family had a great time at this property. Everything in Ellicottville is walking distance, and what a wonderful little town! The house is full of eclectic décor that started many fun conversations. Lots of room for a family gathering.

10 members of the motorcycle club used the house as a base for day trips for this years tour. The accommodations were excellent and the house well equipped. The in town central location was a big hit with all members lots of amenities within walking distance. I have used VRBO for the last 5 Tours and am happy with the service and results. We used this house for our yearly guys golf trip. Location was perfect. We could walk to downtown where there were bars and restaurants. Plenty of space inside the home so nobody was tripping over each other. The ping pong table was a hit. Would definitely rent again

We stayed here over Mother’s Day weekend for a great weekend away. We loved the purple palace-it was very spacious with lots of rooms and beds for people to sleep. We also enjoyed the covered patio. It was great to be able to easily walk to the downtown (less than 5 min walk). Dave and Annette were great to deal with. Thanks again!

The house and property is awesome! We had 10 women in our group, very spacious, clean, well stocked and walking distance to downtown. Huge open concept kitchen and lovely deck. Annette (owner) excellent to work with. Great all season location. Highly recommend, we will be back!

We have stayed here a couple of times with family and friends. This house is located right downtown Eville - a 3 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants and the short drive to the ski hills is also a plus. It is rustic inside (as you would expect for a house this vintage) but it has all modern amenities, a large kitchen and seating area, and lots of leisure space/games room. One of the 4 bedrooms lacks a bit of privacy but it is great overall for a large family and close friends.

We have been bringing a large group to Ellicottville for 10 years and during the last 8 we have stayed at the Purple Palace. Great common areas. Lots of beds. A short walk to restaurants, shops and bars. You can see Holimont from your porch and a short drive to Holiday Valley. David and Annette are great, easy to deal with and extremely helpful. Don't look any further - you want to stay here!!

House is great, we stay every year and it’s always a great time

This was our second time staying at the property. The first time we rented the main section for a smaller group. Our second visit we rented the entire house for the weekend. We had 23+ people and were very comfortable. Great location for walking into town and doing some shopping. The owners were very accommodating and any questions about the property were answered promptly.

I have stayed at the Purple Palace many times before - each trip has been filled with great memories and good times. The house is perfect to host in, we had a blast!

This was our second stay at the Purple Palace and 5yrs later it still lives up to its reputation as the best place for large groups. Our golf trip of 11 guys fit comfortably in the Mardi Gras portion of the house. We made frequent use of the ping pong table, enjoyed the deck out back and even cooked up some late night steaks on the grill. Its convenient location just one short block away from all the nightlife seals the deal. With the keypad door locks everyone was able to enjoy the bars at their leisure without having to coordinate rides or return times. It is also just a 2 min drive up the road to Holiday Valley where we enjoyed golf on Saturday afternoon. Thanks to David and Annette for the constant communication and flexibility. Jim

Lot's of fun great location.plenty of room. The only thing they could have done better was to specify that their is no keurig and you had to bring a coffee.He took a hike at Little Rock City State Park that was great. Good Job!

Dave and his sister, Annette were beyond helpful and accommodating. We had an absolute BLAST at the Purple Palace and we can't wait to go back! The house was incredibly clean, well maintained, and stocked with all the essentials (towels, toilet paper, etc.) that we forgot to bring. The location of the house could not have been more perfect and every girl who spent the weekend there with my fiancé and I just raved about how immaculate the house was. The had the greatest bachelorette party ever, and the reason is solely because of the house! We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Our Rochester family of 8 including our 7 and 8 year old granddaughters look forward to our annual event in Ellicottville skiing and especially our stay at the Purple Palace! Having all family members ages 7-67 in one house, eating together, sharing family stories, laughing and playing together....WELL, it just doesn't get any better than that. It's this kind of experience in this warm and lovely home which helps keep our family connected.The house has SO much character and has become a welcomed tradition. My cousins and I loved the "purple palace"! The beds were all comfortable and we truly enjoyed our kitchen table gatherings along with our American/Canadian cousin debates in "the parlour". Loved the atmosphere of the home and it's location. The second frig proved to be very useful! Had a great time-thank you David and Annette!

9 of us stayed over a beautiful fall weekend, the porches were great gathering space, as well as the large living areas. Kitchen was great, had everything we could ask for. Can't beat the proximity to town and holiday valley, we walked everywhere! House was very clean, overall it was a great experience. We will be back!

Perfect property - accommodating for large groups. Whether you're coming back from a long day on the slopes or getting ready to soak up the EVL night life, this property has all the amenities to make sure the good times roll!!! Large kitchen to fix proper meals, game room to test your skills and large sitting rooms to relax and share stories from the night before. Sleeping arrangements are plenty, never a wait for a bathroom & up to date laundry facilities give the comforts of home in the heart of EVL. Booking was a snap, can't wait to come back!

We've rented this house for the past five years for Oktoberfest and it never disappoints! Every year the owner goes out of his way to continue to make improvements. Furniture and paint are updated- it's always clean and all the amenities work well- including the hot water tanks -- no one has a cold shower! The location couldn't be better and the decks are perfect to getting together and having a great time. We are already looking forward to next year! Our group is a mix of couples and single persons between the ages of 25-45. Everyone loves it here. It would work for families as well, we've considering doing a family trip to stay at the home.

That is a quote from the Birthday girl we rented it for. We had 15 people - plenty of space and all were more than comfortable - guys and girls, great football tv, nice ping pong tournament, fully stocked kitchen for cooking, just perfect! We will be back!

I rented the house for the weekend for myself and a group of my buddies for a small bachelor get away before my friend gets married. What a perfect place. So central to everything, 2 minute walk to the town (restaurants, bars, etc) and 2 minute drive to Holiday Valley for golf. The house was amazing, great outdoor deck, ping pong table, so much room. We all said we want to make this an annual thing!

Dave, just wanted to let you know all the guys in our group really loved the purple palace. With ten guys it's tough to make everyone happy but all were impressed with the house. The golf at Holiday Valley and Elkdale was excellent but thank goodness for the covered deck, dart board and ping pong table when one day was a complete wash out. Some say that was the most fun day. The guys also really enjoyed the short walk to night life and restaurants which saved having a DD. EBC was a big hit and just a block away. The beds were all comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We also cooked two gourmet meals on the very nice BBQ. Thanks for dropping off the spare tank just in case. Highly recommend your place and we may make it an annual destination.

We rented the entire house (3 different entrances which were all connected when you rent the entire house) for a two night stay for 24 guys for a golf weekend.We had plenty of room and then some. House has everything you need. Cooked out both nights on the huge back patio. Darts and ping pong were a big hit. Golf was a mile away and then parked the cars and walked everywhere else, which was very close. My 2nd stay at this beautiful house and I will be renting again!!!

Great Rental Experience ... The house was perfect for our bachelorette weekend . Within walking distance to everything imaginable !

I will begin with saying what a great time we had in Ellicottville/Holiday Valley! My first time here and I will definitely return. Our stay was over the long weekend of President's day. Though we had some issues I must admit due to our short stay we put up with the circumstances and did not inform the owner until after we arrived home. The issues included the inability to use the dining area due to a chill in that area. Just too cold to enjoy a meal around the large lovely table. Also of concern, our arrival late on the night of Thursday we were met with a very cold home. The thermostat reading was low and it took well until the next day for the home to warm in other parts of the house. Our party of seven used all bedrooms with at least one bed unused. We were able to borrow comforters from the other beds in our attempt to keep warm. The owner responded with complete satisfaction on ALL issues. I've never enjoyed a relationship more in any time of our numerous years of vacations than with the owner of this home/rental. Along with my review of the issues to Dave, I provided some suggestions for resolutions to the issues. Dave Carly, the owner, was very open and interested in my ideas. It is my sincere belief that future renters will be pleasantly surprised by the changes he has been willing to implement to correct all the mentioned issues. On one of the days we all stayed in and were able to entertain ourselves with the ping pong table. I think we must have had 4-6 hours of tournament time! Such a delightful location with the close proximity to downtown for restaurants & shopping. Topps grocery store is the best! A little too far to walk with arms full of groceries but very convenient just the same! I would highly recommend this home for the quaint and cute décor but more than anything I am more than satisfied with the owner's response to our concerns.....very professional & respectful! I will return to Holiday Valley for the great skiing experience and definitely will consider renting this home again if we have a large enough group to do so!

Nine of us businessmen had a great weekend in the Purple Palace/Ellicottville! We really enjoyed the large kitchen, ping pong table and living rooms. On such a weekend we would typically eat out every night, but with such great amenities we ate in all three nights! The location is fantastic - a mere two block walk into the downtown zone (where we were every night!). It is a very short drive to Holiday Valley where we enjoyed some fabulous skiing. A must for a large group!

My extended family had a great time at the purple palace--we especially appreciated all of the pantry items & kitchen supplies that are available. We cooked up a storm! Also loved being able to walk around town each night without having to find parking! Do keep in mind that one of the bedrooms is "semi-private," and therefore is best reserved for the early risers (or heavy sleepers) in your group! The second living room space does have a door though, and worked well for our teenagers.

I threw a surprise 30th birthday party for my boyfriend at this wonderful home. It was in walking distance to all bars/restaurants and I would highly recommend this to anyone. The house was referred to me by a few friends that have stayed there before that also had an amazing time. The house was very clean, slept everyone comfortably, and everyone just loved it. I will definitely book this house again soon!

I had my whole wedding party rent the house for the weekend and it was perfect! The wedding was at Holiday Valley, and the rehearsal was at EBC and this house was the perfect location for all of that! My wedding party was very impressed with the house and had a great time with all the activities that were available in the house. Definitely a must stay!

Wonderful weekend spent with wonderful friends. The place was clean, comfortable and spacious. Close to shops and found lots to do. Good places to eat. Slept 14 people comfortably. We are eager to return!

We used this for a bachelorette/bachelor party with the bride & grooms parents & we all had a grand time. It was close enough for all to walk- including aging parents- The house was very clean & organized. I would recommend it to all!

My family and I had a great weekend at the Purple Palace. It is a very short walk to EBC and the main drag in EVL. We stayed in the large rental unit, which had plenty of room with the four bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms. The ping pong table and the side deck were great for entertainment. Everything was very clean and the decor was very fun and interesting. The beds were very comfortable, but if you are tall, pick a bed without a footboard. There are enough of them available. The off street parking was great, and you could easily find a spot on the street if you needed it. I would highly recommend this property to anyone else looking for a fun, nice place to stay in EVL. Don't forget to bring your growlers for filling at EBC!

A great place for a boys golf weekend! The location is perfect as it is close to all the restaurants and bars in Ellicottville - no need to get a taxi or shuttle. Lots of room in the house and plenty of beds. The sheltered deck is a nice outdoor space that was used a lot.

For the last 4 years we have made our annual family ski outing to Ellicottville. Now including grand kids. The "Purple Palace" has been responsible for bringing our entire family together, sharing, laughing, playing games...just enjoying each other making the family bond stronger. It's ideally located, warm and homey! The decorations are interesting, fun, and the kids always ask about the ceiling and decorations. We always look forward to our stay.

Our group of 12 rented this home for 3 nights, and absolutely loved it!! The location could not have been better...a very quick walk to downtown and a really quick drive over to Holiday Valley. The house was spacious, updated, clean and came with everything we needed. We had a fantastic time snowboarding during the day and enjoying the downtown area in the evening. We will def be making this an annual trip and will be staying here again.

I stayed at the Purple Palace for one night over Christmas break with my family. It was perfect! The house is literally right in town, a block from the bars / restaurants (we walked to Dina's for dinner and then went to the Gin Mill after). And it is still just a few minute drive to the Holiday Valley lodge too. The house is very big, lots of rooms / beds. We had 8 people and there were plenty of empty beds, and that didnt include the couches / pull outs. The house was fully equipped with everything you could need -- deck with a grill, fully equipped kitchen (we made good use of the coffee maker), speakers for an ipod, board games, ping pong table (which we also made very good use of). Even getting in and out of the house with a key pad lock was easy so we didnt have to worry about keys. It really was a great stay and will now be a new family tradition over the holidays! I highly recommend this house!

I stay in Ellicottville quite often as a few of my friends live in town. After many requests by a few other girls kept coming in, we decided to look for a place that could hold a large group for a nice weekend away. Dave and Annette responded to my inquiry almost immediately and gave me the run-down on renting their beautiful home. The process was easy and they were extremely accommodating. We are familiar with Ellicottville, but Dave and Annette provided excellent resources for folks who are not used to the area. They provided every piece of information an out-of-towner would like to know - from restaurants to activities to day trips. It was great! The house itself is beautiful and very large. It held our entire group (which grew from 8 to 12 very quickly). There were more than enough bathrooms, beds, towels and hot water for most of us to shower. The best part about this house is its location. It is very close to town - walking distance from all the restaurants and shops. It was perfect. Had the weather been warmer, we would have loved to have used the large wrap-around porch, but we mainly stayed inside. The Ping-Pong table was a hit! We used it the entire weekend and had a great time. We also loved how warm and inviting the home felt. The fireplace added to the ambiance as well. All in all, we had an excellent weekend. What a great place for a mini-vacation! Thank you Dave and Annette!

We rented the entire Purple Palace for the weekend to fit our large group of 23 guys in town for a golf outing and it felt like we had room for at least 10 more with all of the space. The house was well equipped with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We used the grill on the deck, the stereo in the kitchen, the ping pong table and some even found time for a late night dip in the hot tub. With such a large group we wanted to be close to the downtown nightlife (Balloons!) and that is where this house truly excels. It was a quick 2 minute walk one block over to be right in the middle of the bar district. This and the keyless keypad locks enabled some of us to "stumble" home earlier than others without ruining the fun for the rest. The drive to Holiday Valley for golf was even less than a mile! Coordinating the rental with David and his sister Annette could not have been easier. They were very responsive over email and answered all of the questions we had leading into the weekend. I sincerely would recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great time in Ellicottville, NY no matter what the occasion. Every one of us had a weekend to remember and we were disappointed to have to leave. p.s. all future visitors will get to enjoy the use of the newly upgraded ping pong table that we installed since we had a bit too much fun with the other one.. Dave, thanks for the awesome stay at the Victorian Village Home (or the Purple Palace!) We appreciated you accommodating my family on such short notice. We came down for a quick getaway with the kids? (17 and 23) and the place was a prefect fit. One block away from everything in town (including the EBC which we highly recommend) and enough space for everyone to hang out together or find some "alone" time. The deck was great and we played Euchre long into the night in the High Chairs. The beer fridge and free wi-fi were also a nice touch. We will definitely re-book and bring a lot more people next time.

Later our group ventured into the establishments to listen to Blues. This was our first time visit for Blues and Jazz weekend. The house is unique in decor and the additional upgrades are tastefully intertwined with the makeup of the house. We certainly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen! It has everything needed to put out a large spread. Showers were hot, beds clean, and plenty of paper goods are available. The side porch, complete with a gas grill, makes the house seem larger- our group gathered here for all our meals and conversations throughout the day. It is obvious that the house is well maintained and respected by your guests. We found every aspect of the house clean and accommodating for our friends and family weekend. Thank you!

I selected this house as a central location for a group of 7 teachers to plan a conference. It was ideal! The house itself was roomy and comfortable, plenty of spaces to work and play in, and set up perfectly. We never had time for a game of ping pong, but did relax in the evening in the comfy leather sofas! We were able to "set up shop" at the large kitchen table, get all our computers and work materials spread out with no problem. The open counter into the spacious and well-appointed kitchen made it easy to get up, get something to eat or drink, or prepare meals, and still be part of the discussion. The screened in porch with the pub table was perfect for a break, even if it was rainy! Beds were comfortable, and updated bathrooms just right. The house had so many delightful things to look at--kitschy décor that made it a treat to stroll around---it would take a week to enjoy everything! And downtown was an easy walk to anything! Grocery store 2 blocks away, restaurants and shops even closer. Perfect for an evening stroll to get ice cream and homemade candy! A lovely town for a walk or a run. Thank you, David, for offering this wonderful Victorian home for our use. We will certainly return for our next outing---hopefully with less work to do! :=)

David, All I can say is WOW!!! We loved every inch of the house and every minute we spent in it. The space is great along with the décor. Bathrooms are beautifully updated and the frosted Charlie’s Angels window downstairs is the best window EVER!!! We all felt “at home” in your house so thank you for making it available for others to share!!!! We already discussed making our visit to your Victorian an annual event!!!

The Purple Palace what AMAZING!! We came for a 30th Birthday, and it was just perfect! We loved that there was a full kitchen, ping-pong table, and plenty of space for all of us. Ellicottville is a 5 min walk and we loved the closeness to the nightlife the town is known for! David was great to rent from and made everything super easy!! We WILL be coming back when we have a large group again, this house was just PERFECT!! Sara

Wow, what a great place to enjoy with a group of friends. Lots of space, large dining area that can accomodate everyone and the house have everything you need. Rooms, games, views for all. There was something for everyone, skiing, shopping, the spa and so close to downtown that it was ideal to come and go. The owner is great to deal with and ensures everything is thought of, we will be back!

We had a friend's ski weekend here and were blown away with the home. There were eight of us and we agreed that we could have brought along 10 more friends and still had enough room. Plenty to do--games, ping pong, karaoke, organ...David has really thought of everything. Plenty of towels, everything you could need in the kitchen...the only thing we started to run low on was toilet paper. There were other renters in the other unit for part of our stay, but you would've never known it--place is partitioned off professionally and noise was not an issue. David was very accommodating and made booking and payment very easy. We are all looking forward to renting this place again!

Ellicotville is a town that everyone should experience,it has charm, character, summer and winter outdoor activity, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Then you add in the purple house. The location of the house is perfect, you are literally no more than a 5 minutes car ride to the hills and a 5 minute walk to the activities in town. The set up in the house is to accommodate a large crowd. There is a very large kitchen that was well equipped, we cooked many meals and found everything we needed. There are three rooms for lounging and entertaining with comfortable couches. The bedrooms are all laid out to sleep 15 comfortably. Everything was very clean,and well maintained.We had plenty of towels. The bathrooms upstairs were very modern. We were 12 in our group and we had no issues with hot water. This is a great house for a large crowd that want to stay under one roof. I would highly recommend it.

The kitchen floor is beautiful. The aceltic style is interesting and we loved the holiday accents. Our girls left ornaments on your tree as a thank you for letting us stay at the your purple palace. Another amazing year for fall fest at the purple palace!!!! This is the third year our group (22 in total) has rented from David and it just keeps getting better!! He takes the time to continue to improve this place every year. There is a brand new driveway, new floors in the kitchen, and the rooms have been updated! The place is huge- the pictures don't do it justice. Although it rained the entire weekend it didn't effect our stay as both covered porches kept us dry. The kitchen is an amazing size- easily accommodates group breakfasts for over 20 without stepping on each other. The ping-pong table brings great competition and the living is large enough to enjoy Sunday football together. The addition of the second fridge in the mudroom, made it easy for everyone to keep their drinks cold! Our weekend was cooler and David took the time to make sure the heat was up before we arrived. Everything was clean and well maintained. The updated bathrooms from last year continue to be perfect for a large group. Even after 20 people used the three showers no one complained about lack of hot water. The location couldn't be better. The house is located right in town and walking distance to everything. The keypads instead of locks are great for many so we can come and go as we please. David is great to work with and extremely accommodating. Although we went for a party weekend this would be a great place to bring a family. Our group is already talking about next year - we recommend this place to anyone who is looking to bring a group together for a great time.

Celebrated a birthday that weekend. There were 13 people. What a great place to have a party. The house is extremely interesting. Front and back stairs confused a couple of people :). The weather co-operated, two played golf, others went biking, ladies shopped. That weekend there many garage sales, so had plenty to see. The location of the Purple Palace is desirable. We were able to walk to wine store, grocery store and numerous eating establishments. We enjoyed the shops along the street. The large front porch gave us the opportunity to sit and watch weddings at the church across the street. The church clock chimes every hour and disturbed some sleepers. The rear deck with 2 BBQ's is very accommodating and is covered so it can be used, even if it's raining. Kitchen is well equipped, linens were in abundance. There was always a bathroom to use and never ran out of hot water. There is a Spa next door and it was busy, so must be good. The owner is most congenial. He gave us printed information and instruction regarding the different aspects of the house. We had everything we needed to make our visit a success. Each bedroom is different, with plenty of room for all. "Betsy" is an interesting addition to one of the bedrooms! The listing is accurate, the property is clean and well-maintained. Air conditioning has just recently been installed and with the weather right now, sure it has been appreciated. We have already discussed a return visit and we would recommend the property to friends and relatives. It was a most memorable weekend and enjoyed by all. Bob, Gail and friends

We had 8 people staying over presidents week (2 little girls) and had a fabulous time! The decor is a bit "eclectic" but that adds to the nightly conversations. The bathrooms are fully updated and had the best showers!!!! There were a few glitches (none of them a big deal) but make sure you pay attention to the oven as we couldn't figure out how to not burn the cookies. All of us would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any group who wants to stay in Ellicottville rather than on the mountain.

From start to finish, this was the best Ellicottville rental in our 30 years of going to Holiday Valley. David is great to work with, providing detailed information on the house, Ellicottville and surrounding areas. He allowed us to arrive early so we could get in an additional afternoon of skiiing. You really can't ask for a more convenient location. For many years we stayed in condos by the ski area, but discovered that being able to walk into town was the best location for us. This is the BEST town house, and we've stayed in all of them. This is a party house. Fun decor, inviting, furnished rooms downstairs and nice, fun bedrooms upstairs. There were 7 of us and we all had plenty of room. The bathrooms are all updated, and the towels provided are so fluffly. Not the scratchy ones we are used to that are provided in these types of rentals. There is a keypad instead of keys to the house so you don't have to make arrangements to make sure no one gets locked out. With the keypad, everyone can come and go as they please. We will definitely be contacting David again to rent this for our 2013 ski trip.

Our 2 families of 4 adults & 6 kids (ranging 10 - 21 years) had a fabulous time at the Purple Palace. Prior to arriving David was very easy to communicate with. We emailed each other a number of times and he certainly helped us plan for a great stay with easy directions and very helpful advice. His flexibility with our arrival and departure was greatly appreciated - thank you! The location is fantastic. A very easy walk into the lovely downtown of Ellicottville and an easy few minutes drive to both ski hills. Once we arrived, entrance into the house was both easy and welcoming. The downstairs living space is incredible!! Everyone felt they had their own space to hang out to chat, play games and/or watch tv (World Jr Hockey Championships). The dining room table was large enough to accommodate us all to enjoy great meals (fabulous Napolean BBQ) and games together. The Victorian home provided us with the comforts we needed with all the necessary immenities in the kitchen (lots of plates & utensils) bathrooms and bedrooms. The bathrooms (2.5) are beautifully renovated. With all of us showering we did NOT run out of hot water. The bedrooms were great as they provided us with ample sleeping room and room for more. The 4 girls loved sharing the yellow/purple room with the 3 single beds and a bunkbed. The wifi worked perfectly. We certainly have some great memories of our few days in Ellicottville and thank you very much David for the comforts of your lovely Victorian home.

This is the second year in a row I stayed at the Victorian Village with friends (22 in total) for Fall fest weekend. We rent the Buckingham, along with the additional space upstairs in the loft and to say this house is huge is an understatement. (I don't think the pictures do justice is showing the large size of the property) It has everything you need to have a great time with friends and/or family in Ellicottville. The house offers huge porches for outdoor sitting,(with 2 large grills) a large kitchen where everyone can eat together and even a ping pong table for a little competition!! There are four bathrooms, three showers (2 which were brand new this year!), which made it easy for everyone to get ready in the morning. After 22 people showered there was still hot water. The house comes fully equipped with all kitchen and bathroom supplies and even has an ihome that is loud enough to entertain inside or out. We love the space and even though we had 22 stay, we didn't feel crowded once! We could have comfortably fit more for the weekend. The location couldn't be more perfect. You are literally the first street out of town, minutes walking distance from all the bars, restaurants and Tops and only a mile walk to Holiday Valley. I can't think of a more convenient location. Before our trip I always have last minute questions and concerns, which the owner always quickly responds by email. We just finished our stay and are already looking forward to our trip again next year!

We had a great time at this place! Very spacious and loved the big grill, outdoor darts, air hockey, indoor ping pong etc! We have been doing this college guys golf outing for about 12-15 years and overall everyone thought this was the best place we have rented......also in a great village with wonderful proximity to the town so we could walk to almost everything!. It was also nice that unit was stocked with some of the basic essentials like toilet paper, soap etc....little things but it makes a difference for your stay! Also, many extra accessories in kitchen, crock pots, blenders and other devices.....maxed out....too many other rentals give you 4 plates plus a can opener! Nicely renovated bathrooms and nice furnishings!

Dave, we had our girls weekend in EVL at your Victorian home.. 16 of us came and enjoyed skiing, spa (right next door), tubing, shopping and just plan fun. Your home was comfortable for 16 women, plenty of space and bathrooms too (very key for that many women!!!). We all agreed the location was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants and close to ski hill as well. We are now planning for next Feb for the second annual EVL Girls Weekend. Many many thanks for everything.. looking forward to the 2012 season!!

My Family and I spent the weekend in Ellicottville and we stayed in the Curfew Tower part of this gorgeous victorian home. The home is located right downtown and it was nice not having to drive after a long day of skiing and tubing. We just walked to town in about 2 mins and had a wonderful dinner. Having a BBQ there was nice, to have the choice of dining in or staying home and having a nice steak on the Barbie.The tower is very unique and has a certain charm about it. Very cozy and I was impressed with all the little details that it had to offer. It had everything you needed to have a great time. We have two daughters and they stayed in the loft above the main room and they loved going up the ladder to their special beds at night. Both children are over 10 yrs old and had no problems using the ladder provided. Probably not recommended for very small children. The Curfew Tower had plenty of room for the 4 of us and still had a room below that we did not use. I wouldn't hesitate in going back to this property and would love to bring more people down next time and stay in the main part of the house. A great place to enjoy your Family and friends and being able to walk to town was a bonus.
